We are regularly commissioned by school travel companies – Halsbury, Acorn, Study Group – and are even part of the Voyager School Travel family. We know about travelling with young people and are proud to have extensive experience with school and youth groups.

As well as day trips to the museum or overnight in London, we’re often found driving student groups to France, Germany, Italy and Spain for their overseas residential trips by coach. Give us details of your planned trip and we’ll see how we can help.

All of our drivers have enhanced DBS checks, regular safeguarding training and full, clean licences and our coaches undergo rigorous safety and service checks and all have seatbelts and toilets. Especially important in Europe, our fleet have access on both sides of the vehicle so that our passengers can board and alight on the safest side of the road.

We can also provide a secure luggage trailer for the safe transport of sports equipment, musical instruments and ski gear.

FAQs

How many students can I take in a coach?

The largest coach in the Pegasus fleet seats 85 but any combination of coaches can be booked to accommodate your group. Our smallest coach seats 34 passengers and we recommend coach hire for no fewer than 20 students to help keep the price per person down.

Are Pegasus Coaches safe for children?

All of our coaches undergo rigorous and regular safety inspections in line with UK and European legislation and our drivers all hold an enhanced DBS certificate and have safeguarding training. Find out more about our safety standards here.
