Coach Passenger Safety & Travel Risk Assessment

Ensuring the safety and well-being of our passengers and drivers is our top priority at Pegasus Coaches. We operate our coach hire in accordance with UK and European legislation, including those laws concerning seat belts and drivers' hours. From meticulous daily vehicle checks to enhanced driver training, we are committed to meeting the highest safety standards. 

To fulfil our duty of care and create a safer environment for children and young people, all Pegasus coach drivers undertake the EduCare Safeguarding Young People course, as well as being required to have an enhanced DBS check. 

Pegasus coaches are checked on a daily basis for performance and safety. Our vehicles are subject to a thorough inspection every six weeks in our Hampshire coach servicing garage to ensure that they meet current legislation and the regulations set out by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).

All of our coaches are no older than nine years old, and are compliant with EURO 6 emission standards. 

In the unlikely event of an issue with your coach, our extensive fleet and our own dedicated mobile mechanics ensure quick support, so your group’s journey remains uninterrupted.
